Overview of a Snowy April First (Not an April Fool’s Joke)

Saturday Morning...
Little L was supposed to go to Gamma’s house but was acting like a frog instead of getting ready.
Our new neighborhood friend texted that they were at the park and did we want to come? I figured it wouldn’t take long and we are trying to cultivate neighborhood relationships, so I asked Little L, who said yes, turned back into a human, and got ready very quickly.
New neighborhood friend texted while we were en route — her kid got too cold and they left the park! But her other friend was there, with a 5-year-old. We should look for them.
We met the new kid, who immediately asked Little L to play. She said yes and RAN OFF TO PLAY!
Within two minutes, the 5-year-old’s little sister got snow in her boot, cried, and the dad said they were leaving.
Little L was sad and wanted to play fairies, so now I was stuck playing at the park with Little L when she was supposed to be at Gamma’s!
It was getting late, so I ended up just feeding her lunch at home (cue half-an-hour of clean-up).
Finally got her to Gamma’s. I get home only to realize we are OUT OF CHOCOLATE and I am desperate.
I consider eating the chocolate Premium Baking 100% Cocoa powder. And THEN… I remembered a bottle of chocolate fudge topping in the fridge. I dipped pretzels in it and chowed down.
