As the snow falls out the window and Axel breaks in his new exercise bike downstairs, Little L urging him on (I hear a lot of "stop pressing those buttons!"), it's time to reflect upon the closing of 2025.

For Meatball, the end of 2025 brought the return of the cone (paw licking, small skin tag removed) as well as the end of the crate. That's right, we got Meatball a real dog bed and packed up her metal kennel. She seems very happy and has only been caught once or twice dragging her bed into the living room.

(Before you say we need to get her a second one, we already did that).

Meatball, however, seems to lack the ability to reflect, so she would probably say that her best moment is any moment she's chewing on a Milkbone (or pullling the socks off our feet), and her worst moment is when she's left home alone (and coned).
